The villa is situated in peaceful beautiful, gently rolling countryside, amidst arable fields, sunflower fields, cypress trees, vines and woodlands and has been described as a cross between The Cotswolds and Tuscany.

The local vineyards and towns are world famous and include Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion, Bergerac and the fairy castle of Monbazillac. Wine tasting is a popular past time in this area!

It is conveniently located 4 miles from Chateau Vigiers golf course, one of the best courses in South West France, which also has a Michelin star restaurant Les Fresques.

​

The Buddhist Mindfulness retreat centre at the Plum Village is a 15 minute stroll for our guests who wish to attend day retreats.

​

Acabanes is 4 miles to Sigoules, the local village with all amenities. Loubes-Bernac is 2.5 miles, a traditional village with a small shop which also sells 

croissants/baguettes. 

​

The villa is surrounded by a network of peaceful, single track lanes perfect for  cycling and walking.

 

For flights, Bordeaux is 75 minutes and Bergerac is 20 minutes. Caen is a 6 hour drive.
