Q:. How do we get to the Dordogne and the villa?

If you wish to fly, the villa is near Bergerac airport (20 mins). Another option is Bordeaux Airport (90 mins).  Car hire is recommended for exploring the Dordogne’s charming villages, vineyards, and châteaux.

If you prefer to drive, it is a lovely 6 hour road trip from St Malo and Caen with Brittany Ferries. The norther port of Calais is 8 -10 hours.

Q: How many guests can the villa accommodate?

The villa comfortably sleeps up to 15 guests, made up with 10 adults and 5 children. Acabanes has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, making it ideal for large families, multi-generational holidays, or special celebrations such as wedding anniversaries and birthdays.

Yes — the villa is an accessible villa in the Dordogne, as it has two ground-floor bedrooms. The Verte ground floor bedroom has no steps to the en suite shower room or to the pool area. Please contact us for specific accessibility details to ensure it is right for your needs.

Yes, Acabanes is a pet-friendly Dordogne villa and a very dog-friendly holiday home. We welcome well-behaved dogs upon request and they love all the walks from the house.

A: The minimum stay is 7 nights (Saturday–Saturday). Long winter lets are possible, please enquire for details.
