Mezzanine Area/Bedroom

Child
friendly stairs, with stair gates top and
bottom,
lead from the sitting room to the mezzanine, part of
which can be used as a self-contained
playroom, with a sturdy safety gate.
Within this area are assorted games and activities; table football; a small snooker table; and a dartboard.
There are two seating areas here, one with two wicker chairs and a
table which makes an ideal reading corner. The second is
a small library/study area with a rocking chair.
The "Snug" consists of two sofas and can be partitioned from the
main mezzanine, using full length curtains. This Snug can be used as a
fifth bedroom at night, comprising of two single beds.
Veranda
From this mezzanine is access onto a large
4x3m balcony, an ideal place for afternoon tea, to
soak up some sunshine, or enjoy a drink
watching the sunset over the valley (a drinks fridge is provided on
the mezzanine).
There are two bedrooms on
this upper floor, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and wooden
floors. They both have Velux windows to enable the bedrooms to be
vented and cooled when the summer temperatures are very
high.
La Chambre Rose
A master bedroom measuring 5m x 3m
has a super-king bed with a memory foam topped mattress. It can comfortably
sleep a third person in a 3 foot bed which is normally a relaxing sofa.
There is an iPod docking station, wardrobe,
dressing table and two bedside lockers.
La Chambre Jaune
This bedroom
measures 4m x
3.3m has a super-king bed with a memory foam topped mattress. It can
accommodate a third person
in a 3 foot bed which is normally a day sofa. It also has an iPod
docking station, wardrobe, five-drawer chest and two bedside lockers.
The
Bathroom is situated on this
floor and consists
of; a bath; a rectangular shower cubicle with a powerful
shower fed from the pressurised hot water system; a WC; and a basin
with a mirror and a shaving light incorporating
a 240V shaving socket which can be used for the hair dryer provided.
