The focal point of the barn is a large sitting room 9m x 8m which is open to a timbered "cathedral" ceiling and mezzanine area. This room is full of character with the original stone walls and wooden beams.

A large Jotul wood burning stove adds warmth and character to this room, making it a lovely area to relax in the evening.

The information area features a series of large maps detailing places of interest. Manuals and leaflets enable guests to make the most of their stay.

The entertainment area includes a 42" Hitachi HD Plasma Television connected to a full package of UK Satellite TV channels; DVD and VCR. There are extensive number of popular DVDs. The DVD player is connected to a surround sound stereo system, to enable enhanced viewing. This stereo system can also play the CDs and albums provided. There is an Ipod docking station here also.

For further entertainment there is also a 7x4 foot  slate bedded Championship Pool Table which can also be used for Snooker.

The kitchen/dining area leads from the sitting room. The kitchen is 9m x 4m with beamed ceilings, tiled floors and oak fitted kitchen units. There is aJotul wood burning stove, Rangemaster electric double oven and five ring gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. The dining table can seat twelve. The original doors to the barn are situated at the far end of the kitchen, through which the local farmer and landowner, Mr Duteil, brought his cattle into the barn. Mr Duteil has recently retired to the bungalow situated at the bottom of the lower garden.

The kitchen opens onto a partly covered terrace with a BBQ, table and chairs. From this terrace you can enjoy the views over the lower garden, and surrounding countryside. For younger guests there is a sandpit and wendy house here and table tennis.

Downstairs, the two bedrooms both have adjacent en-suite shower rooms, with exposed stone walls and tiled floors. French doors allow direct access onto private terraces and the swimming pool beyond (both can be locked to limit access to the pool area)
