Installation of
solid oak windows and doors throughout the property
Fitted with glass which helps reflect
the heat of the Summer sun and retain heat in the rooms in the Winter.

Downstairs Bedrooms
La
Chambre Lavande
has become a Master Four Poster
En-suite Bedroom and the super-king bed is hand made solid ash
The en-suite shower room
had a new shower fitted in March 2009 and also been fitted with a large chrome towel heater to improve the
airing of towels throughout the season and provide heating during
winter lets.
La
Chambre Vert has
been converted from a three bedded children's room to a second
Master En-suite Bedroom with a Superking Sleigh bed. This ensuite
has also had a new shower fitted in March 2009.
For families, this room can still
comfortably sleep three (by using a single bed which is normally set
up as a sofa).
The
downstairs doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms have all been replaced, with hand made solid
oak doors crafted by a local French artisan.
Infrared Sauna
A 4 person Infrared Sauna in the pool
room which has the following benefits;

A new oak kitchen has been installed,
together with a large Rangemaster oven with gas hobs and electric
double oven.
Heating for the Swimming
Pool
A
Swimming Pool Heater was also installed guaranteeing that the pool is
always at a minimum 24 degrees from March until November
(or warmer by arrangement).
Trampoline
A Body
Sculpture 13 foot trampoline and safety enclosure was acquired. It is suitable for
children from the age of 6 and lighter adults.
Total Refurbishment of the
Pool Area
Including
3 new terraces, a 4x3m veranda and a retractable telescopic pool cover,
that guarantees
swimming from Easter to the end of October, no matter what the outside
temperature or weather conditions.

Championship Snooker/Pool Table
A brand new 4'x7' slate-bedded pool table,
for playing pool, snooker and billiards. It is a Supreme
Prince which is currently being used as the official world
championship table. There are four cues of varying lengths to suit
all heights of adult players.
There is also a small pool table on the
mezzanine for the under twelve's.
Hammocks
To escape the sun there are two
hammocks located under a small area of trees in the lower garden. A
single hammock is suspended from two of the trees, and a
double hammock on a frame.
On
the terrace is a chair hammock
Basket Ball
To
the front of the property is a basket ball net which has an adjustable
height facility, which can accommodate all age groups from young
children through to the professional!
Stair Gates
As an added internal safety feature
we have installed 3 children's safety gates. Two for the stairs and
one between the sitting room and kitchen.
Air Conditioning
Following the exceptionally high temperatures experienced in the
Dordogne in 2003, we have fitted 2 air conditioning units in the upstairs bedrooms.
Hair Dryers
To save
on your luggage and make life easier for all our guests there are hair dryers in our bathrooms.
Additional Child's
Bike
We have
added another child's bike to our fleet, it has five gears and is
suitable for a child up to the age of ten.
